Introducing the October 2008 Readers - 3. Kei Miller
I haven’t received a poem yet from Kei Miller (if one arrives, I’ll certainly put it up here, but donating a poem isn’t obligatory), but here’s a link to one in the Cortland Review called First Book of Chronicles. Pretty good!
This poetry reading series now takes place upstairs at the GRV in Guthrie Street, just off Chambers Street, Edinburgh (the link goes to a map). It's about 10-15 minutes walk from Waverley Station.
Hear some of the best poetry in the UK in a great atmospheric environment. Entry cost is around £4, or £3 for unwaged. All events start at 7.45pm.
The 2010 programme is below, as far as June. There are a few gaps but most of these are just waiting for various confirmations. It should all be complete in the next few weeks.
I'm from Scotland. My chapbook poetry collection, 'The Clown of Natural Sorrow' was published in December 2005 by HappenStance Press. 'The Opposite of Cabbage', my first full-length collection, was published by Salt in 2009. Another chapbook, 'Fleck and the Bank' (also Salt), came out in May 2012. My second collection, 'The Good News' was published in April 2013. I read, write and review poetry.
